Mexican pulled pork
Ingredienser

iPhone dock made from these templates. Probably should have used some form of plastic. The cardboard one wasn’t very stable.

Beautiful infographic and calendar.

I Have been trying to put together a spotify playlist with artists and bands from the north of Sweden, or Swedish Lapland as we like to call it. I’ve realized (again) how much really good music there is coming from here.
I’ve also realized that i know lots of people that play in these bands, some of them (like my colleague Olov) played in several of them and some are on their way to Stockholm to (hopefully) win a Grammis. Unfortunately many of the bands have died. But, the music still exists, so, i present to you:
The Sounds of Swedish Lapland – The Compilation
The playlist is collaborative, so please feel free to add any music that i have missed, or more songs with artists that are already on the list if you feel i’ve missed something. The list will be used as a base to create smaller, more focused and thematic playlists.
Like music for your ears.
I have a very respectable increase in traffic to this website in the last month. I’m sure it’s got nothing to do with the fact that i just re-booted the notes (don’t really want to call it a blog just yet.). Nothing at all.
Still, good to see that someone actually reads this stuff. I’ll try to keep the notes focused around the stuff i find interesting, and not just do nonsense-posts like this to fill up space. This is more to get into the habit of writing stuff. There is another podcast note coming soon. This one a lot more focused on WHY i like the podcasts, and why we should look to that kind of industry and what they are doing with social media.
So. Why not read something interesting until then.
First, but not last nonsense-post.
These are a few of the podcasts that i regularly listen to. I’m not a huge gamer, but i do enjoy the odd bit of Xbox 360 now and again. I am however very interested in the gaming industry. Maybe it’s because of the particulars of the industry (young people, cutting edge tech, always been connected and online) but i really like how they have embraced social media and the communities that surround their games. I feel that there is lots to learn from them, they have been doing, what most companies are just now starting to discuss, for years.

What are your favorite podcasts and why do you listen to them?
Just checked Google Analytics on our food & recipe blog The Kocks. It seems that people are doing lots of googling for food on the 30th of january. We don’t have that many visitors, but there’s (as you can see by the pic) is usually a steady stream every day. Apart from the 30th of january. We had record numbers both 2008 and 2009. From about a 50-60 avg. visits the numbers shot up to 193 (2008) and 251 (2009). Amusing… People seem to lack planning skills when it comes to food!
The most popular recipe on The Kocks is Mikael Nilssons Chocolate Fondant
